Mostar and Kravice Waterfalls
Itinerary:Departure from Dubrovnik08:00 - Comfort break (cca.15-20 min)09:20 - Visit Kravice waterfalls (cca.1.15h)11:30 - Arrival in Mostar, guided tour, free time (cca. 3h)14:30 - Departure from Mostar17:30 - Approximate return to DubrovnikIn this day-tour, the focal point is Mostar. This city had important roles in this region’s historic battles between eastern and western cultures. Its famous bridge symbolically unites the east and the west, while its charming streets tell a story of cultural clashes of the olden days. You will visit Kravice waterfalls on Trebižat River. The falls are most spectacular in the spring when the surrounding nature, often referred to as Europe’s last jungle, turns bright green. In the summer, however, waters calm down, and the lakes become shallower. You can enjoy a refreshing swim if you like. After Kravice falls, we visit a culturally and ethnically diverse city of Mostar with its famous historic UNESCO-protected Old Bridge (Stari Most) over Neretva river which is the highlight of our tour. It includes a guided walking tour of the old city.During the visit, there is enough free time to explore or relax by sipping the traditionally served Turkish coffee.
